Since Friday’s shock dsi news we have had hundreds of visitors searching our site so thought we would take a moment to round up the Nintendo DSi pre ordering information and look in more detail.

Pre Order Nintendo DSi
The DSi will go on sale on April 3rd 2009 and there are already several high street on line retailers where you can now pre order the Nintendo DSi console ahead of its release:

Pre Order Nintendo DSi on Amazon

You can now pre order the Nintendo DSi console from Amazon for £149.99 with free delivery options. Amazon still have stock of the Black DSi and White DSi. Amazon normally have the most stock in the UK and so if your worried about missing our on launch date then you may wish to go here first.

Nintendo DSi on Argos available to pre-order
You can now pre order the Nintendo DSi console from Amazon for £149.99 with free delivery options. Argos have limited units of the Black DSi which is currently still available but could sell out first. They also have the White version of the DSi available to pre order along with a special “Free Accessory pack” with all DSi orders.

GameStation pre-orders now live for DSi
Game Station is still on the of the most popular pre order websites thanks to its large stock and low prices. At the moment they still have hundreds of Nintendo DSi consoles in Black and White DSi left for pre order but you should be fast as they will likely sell out before March 2009.

Nintendo DSi now available on Game UK
Game is the biggest video game retailer in the UK yet in our experience they often suffer from poor stock shortages. At the moment both Black and White versions of the Nintendo DSi are available to pre order but you need to be fast if you want to earn your 1500 reward points. Game also have some great Nintendo DSi bundles that you may wish to check out.

What happens after I pre order my Nintendo DSi?

You will be sent an email shortly after pre-ordering your DSi and be provided with the Official Nintendo launch date. You will not be charged until your DSi has been shipped and can cancel any time until that point. Normally your console will be dispatched BEFORE launch date to ensure that you receive your new Nintendo console on April 3rd. You can read more about pre-ordering the Nintendo DSi console here.

Lets be honest, when the DSi Console launches in the UK in 2009 you are not just wanna get the new machine but also some new games to go with it. Game, GameStation, Amazon, Argos and many more retailers are working on creating the best game bundle deals ahead of the 2009 launch.

While we have yet to see the list, we expect that the DSi will come bundled with at least one game at launch. This is likely to include a “touch generation” Nintendo game such as Brain Training. However Nintendo are likely to leave it up to the retailers to decide the best DSi bundle.

We expect to see both boy and girl bundles. Its is likely the white dsi console may be targeted to the latter and may come bundled with Imagine or cookery games. The black version is likely to be marketed to the more “hardcore” gamer and is likely to arrive with either a Nintendo sports game or racing game.

However the best deals are likely to be when the retailers “freestyle” by bundling in 2 or 3 games with the DSi console including accessories, screen protectors, an extra stylus and carry case.
